Why aren't there mixed football teams? Seems weird to me. I'm sure the women competing in the Olympic team are as good as if not better than most male pro-footballers.

I think kids and teens play in mixed teams.
Oh, I suppose I just thought of my answer. It would require the entire world to agree with this, during the world cup for example. That's not going to happen any time soon.

This just isn't the case. Not denigrating the skill levels of the women players, but I reckon that almost any semi-pro men's team would beat them. There's just no comparison in terms of physicality. Football relies heavily on pace and power and generally speaking women have less of that than men. I enjoy women's football, but it's like a completely different interpretation of the same rules, such is the difference in the speed of the game.

I'm starting to agree with Lazzard's wife, in their field, the women are demonstrably better.
I thought you hated football in all it's forms.
Why are you suddenly championing the women's game? Oh that's right, sexist woman logic.
Typical!
This whole assumption the team who scores the most goals is sexist
What about the msot mitually supportive team eh?

I think some sports are suited to particular genders. There's something very awkward and wrong about Mens Gymnastics, but Womens Gymnastics is bloody awesome.
When it was all power serves at Wimbledon a few years ago, I started watching the women's games, which were much more entetaining with lots of rallies - no wonder they get paid more prize money then the men.
I would like to see more balance in sports that don't rely on purely physical power, such as motor racing and horse riding, but there probably aren't enough girlies taking it up to make it an even playing field.
I saw some of the Olympic football last night, it was hopeless.
They played like a bunch of women.

Just various people from various places. Some people seem to under the impression that saying "You're very little, what do you do/eat?" is some kind of compliment.
If I said to someone "you're a bit chubby, how much do you eat?" it would be considered rude or insensitive.

My very slim sister has the same problem. She eats like a horse (literally about 3500 calories a day) but she has always been very slim and her whole life people have been criticising her for being anorexic (which she patently isn't). People think it's ok to casually have a pop at you just because you're slim when they wouldn't dare say the equivalent if you were big.

You'll never get mixed teams in any contact sport.
And one thing that really pisses me off!
This title of "Team GB."
It's just f**king "Great Britain"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't think just f**king Great Britain will fit on the shirts.
Could be a good Conservative party slogan though.
