Thanks for the input again, but I don't have 'wave' or 'sw synth' on this Windows Vista machine.

Which is the best twitter app for the iPad? The official one is great in every way, except one - I can't see the replies to other people's tweets.

Tweet deck and hoot suite are not for me.

Best free anti-virus? Currently using Avast! But it's annoying.

Aw, I use Avast. The pirate does talk to me a lot, but I don't mind.

I appreciate it has been updated, but it doesn't have to tell me every 5 seconds.

So just open avast and click Settings tab and then click 'Silent/Gaming Mode' (or some such) and uncheck the noise boxes. Simple.

No. Unless there has been a big change in recent years, AVG becomes an irritant, slowing things down. Avast vastly superior.

Yeah, I did that. Turned off notifications that is.

Is there anyway to watch iPlayer or 40D on a compressed stream? I'm now living with the fact that I have to consider a download cap! 40GB a month. I used to download that a day. Well, every other day.

SO I now have an iphone.

But the bloody thing won't send my emails, I have set up my email accounts on the phone and I get the emails coming in ok. But it won't let me send them, I have copied the outgoing mail server down just like it is on my outlook.

Any ideas?
