Sitcom writing partner wanted

Hi

I am looking for a writing partner who lives in London to conceive and write a sitcom. My experience is as follows:

Created and performed in the impro show 'Sprout' that had a residency at the Canal Cafe Theatre and was produced by Marc Wooton (Shirley Ghostman, La La Land). I have recently been a member of the comedy group Impro Central which supports Top comedians at the Funnyside Comedy Club Leicester Square. I wrote for many years for Newsrevue at the Canal Cafe Theatre. As a comedy actor I have appeared on CBBC in the show, 'Agony' and with Dick and Dom. I won the Lighthouse Media 'One minute Film competition' and recently wrote and performed in a short film called 'The Boss' which can be seen at: http://shootingpeople.org/watch/104099/The-Boss

I was originally a drummer and performed in an eighties tribute band and with the X -Factor semi finalists 'The Circus of Horrors' (yeah don't ask me why? It just happened). I also spent a year at one of the top colleges for advertising writers, though I didn't go into advertising, as I literally ran away to join the Circus.

I'm looking for a writing partner who wants to make a serious commitment to writing a sitcom, this would entail working together at least two evenings a week. The person would have some experience in producing comedy that has been professionally performed at some level, be an obsessive student of comedy and have a desire to make things as good as they can be. They would not be afraid to say what they think and understand the importance of character in sitcoms. They would realise that writing a great sitcom is impossibly difficult, but deep down have the belief that they could do it if they put the work in.

Here is a list of my favourite sitcoms. Rising damp (The pilot script is the best I've ever read, it's amazing), Fawlty Towers, Father Ted, Butterflies, Cheers, The Rise and Fall of Reginald Perrin, Seinfeld, Blackadder, Only Fools and Horses, IT crowd, Dad's Army, Red Dwarf. No surprises here, but what I like about them is they all have characters I love. So that's what I would like to do with a partner, create characters that we both start to really feel for and eventually love.

Anyway I've blabbed on enough so If you are reliable, passionate about wanting to write a sitcom and are open and friendly then please contact me at richard_felber@hotmail.com and let me know what you've been up to and what you are looking for.

Looking forward to hearing from you

Best wishes Richard

Just to let you know that I like what you like; like what you want to do; like your criteria and would probably like you. Unfortunately your demands are beyond my ken - I thusfore disqualify myself - but thanks for the opportunity. If you can achieve your objectives I'm sure I'll be a big fan. Bestaluck.
