Things that piss you off Page 1,035

Lolll, our Matalan is quite tame and clean.
We don't even have a TK Maxx. *sad face*

If you've ever wondered if you live in a good or bad part of London, there is a simple test. Go to your high street and count the number of Pound Shops and rip off KFC-style take aways.

If you have more then one of both, you live in a disgusting hellhole full of drugged up criminal foreigns.

Is that why you love MK so much?

What you want to be surrounded by is ridiculous little boutiques selling cushions for £800 each.
Even if it means there's nowhere to buy sweets and a paper.
(Not sarcasm.)

Lol, because it has a TK Maxx? Pretty much. It has an EVERYTHING.

Genuinely considering moving near there at some point, so it's all on tap.
Mmm, lovely, lovely shops.

A moving company's huge semi has parked on the street and blocked my driveway. They left me a tiny space, but driving my car through it will likely destroy a sprinkler head. Angry

I've got something that will persuade them to move the truck ... Whistling nnocently

No, don't do the elephant impression!

:D

Well I hate shops and shopping. So you can understand my lack of enthusiasm.

I can indeed.

It has an indoor ski slope though? With real snow?
You can ski while everyone else shops.

Honestly zooo-merang, you can buy the sweets and paper at Waitrose poppet.

The magic marker dance?

Yeppity doodle.

Though I don't mind when it's something cool - like a new telly.

I went ice-skating but never skiing. I always assumed you could ski on the roof. That is that building isn't it? The weird slopeey building?

Booyah!

Of course! I will never buy from Currys or Dixons but I don't half get a boner walking around them.

That's my town RC.

I went to a TK Maxx once. I gawped and have never been in one since.

TTPYO: the university. When they screw up, it's "unfortunate" such as failing to tell me that I had successfully mitigated a piece of coursework and that it was due in - today. After a semi apology, I am now told that the next hand in date, although I could do it earlier if I wished as it will be the same piece, is April 2013. I then asked whether I could have all of my work to redo because the GP has told me that my illness was misdiagnosed. I was told that it was too late to get any further extensions. WTF? They have just stuffed up sufficiently so that I can't complete my degree until April next year at the earliest. FFS this is the third time that they have got something wrong with my records and hand in dates which has then affected the next piece of work and I apparently just have to put up with it. I have a medical reason for why my work was crappy but a GP's opion is not sufficient to get my case reopened because I got pass grades. I feel a letter to the Office of the Independent Adjudicator coming on.

(Apologies for the language but Riley is a tad peeved.)
