I would have thought your poor fox had starved to death, having forgotten how to hunt and desiring only tinned salmon.

:)

We were worried about that but he turned up on Sunday night (ignoring a temporary dog next door which he obviously knew couldn't get to him).

Are you building a carpark, Carpark ?

A bloomin' carpark would have been easier. My mate is getting a loft conversion in his top floor flat.

So once you've climbed every step in the 5 storey house - there are yet more stairs. Knackering enough on a good day, but having to run up and down them carrying heavy loads of wood was uber-shattering.

Aside from lifting, fetching, carrying and tea making, was also roped into measuring and cutting timber and holding up the plaster boards as they were screwed into the wooden runnels in the ceiling (which I also helped make). I fecking hate plaster board.

Unfortunately, none of this is paid work, it is all as a favour to my mate who has been very generous buying me drinks in the past. It wouldn't have been so bad, but my mate buggered off almost instantly and left me with the two proper builders for the rest of the day.

Oh well, only two more days of this torture and I can relax with a cold pint.

That's pretty cheeky!

Well, he normally works as a solicitor, so even if I did accuse him of being a cheeky monkey, he could probably prove in law that I was at fault.

He has been a good friend and this work will ensure that many free drinks will come my way for at least the next 12 months.

*plus according to the builders, he tried to help out the other day and had a near nervous breakdown due to the amount of physical labour - the big puff*

I recommend this video from Nat.

:D Lovey

Ooh, ooh, me please. I do enjoy your stand up. :)

Vicious circle. The many "free" drinks will only make you feel obliged to help out again, which will bring more "free" drinks. And so on, and on and on, ad infinitum.

Break the cycle now.

You don't like musical comedy!

My dad says that too!
And um, mad apeth?

Whatever that means.

Daft 'apeth in my part of the world. Probably meaning you're not the full penny.

Break the cycle now.

But I love to party! It rocks! (yes I am from a rock band in the 1980s)

I can make exceptions for nice people on the BCG. It was bloody good BTW!

I especially liked the potatoes one, going on about apostrophes. :D

And the anger!

And my hair is nice too, right?

What's his bike got to do with it?

Of course, as always. However that camera angle was a bit shit, could hardly see you.

Yeah I know- it was the only place I could put the camera though :(
