The drugs, possibly?

As Stott says, saying something to an anon on the internet is HARDLY saying it directly to someone. You're hidden all of the way behind your keyboard and screen, when in reality many probably don't have the balls to say what they they type if they were face to face with someone.

If that's not what you're implying then fair enough. Point still stands althought it might not apply.

I'm not promoting bitching about people behind their backs- far from it. But I think that you need to weigh up what you're saying. If you're midly irked by someone and just need to let off some steam, I don't see why it needs to be to their face when it's your issue and not theirs. But of course I said something along the lines of 'in terms of their feelings', which may explain why it's not translating to you.

Also, I don't agree with you at all. I may have agreed with some of your symantics, but most certainly not any of your actual points.

Though this does seem to happen a lot on here (not singling you as such)... people will 'strongly disagree' with some of the things I say. I think that's perfectly fine so to do but it's not enough is it? My 'points' are my opinions, true enough but I have my reasons for saying them... I'll explain lots of them if any other person chooses to express a 'strong disagreement' then say why.

If someone disagrees with something that's written then they have a reason for saying so (then explain it) or they are being a little mischievious aren't they?

Call me a berk or whatever you wish and give your reasons and I'll respect
you for it but without those reasons I maintain you'll just look like a dullard.

Wow, you have all been extremely busy this morning, took me ages to catch up.

Here are some quick responses -

sootyj - Marc P sketch was amaze balls, kudos.

Mum Race - think they are brilliant, love it when they cross the finish line and their boob milk has stained their blouses, like a mini-wet t-shirt contest.

Hugging rwayne - ooh me first, then I can have a feel around and determine gender once and for all

Will Cam's Thai Bride - well, he's already got t'iphone and t'ipod, so why not a t'ibride?

I think I've fairly thoroughly explained those reasonings. I personally would choose, rather than to call you a berk, to explain what it is that makes you look like a berk to others. The sheer lack of support for your corner should be a pretty big sign to you that people do not consider your words and tone to be appropriate in polite society. Maybe you are just one of those mean bastards for whom it doesn't really matter whose feelings are hurt or how he in interpreted as long as he gets to say exactly what he thinks at any given time. Maybe. If that's the case though, that's sad. Those people never seem to findtheir peace in life.

Thanks for the welcome sugar tits. ;)

Unfortunately, I will be away from the computer almost all afternoon and into the early evening, so insert sad face here (points at own face).

Again, with respect, that's just a lot of tosh.

Neither You, nor has anyone else, explained one bit why they disagreed with what I said.

Also, if you have to have 'support for your corner' that suggests a total lack of confidence in what you say in the first place.

maybe it's your experience that 'those people' never find peace in life... that's a grand statement which I'm sure you have evidence to back up but it seems to me if one's sense of propriety comes via the validation of those in your 'corner' then those senses are on a shaky foundation to start with.

Well maybe everyone will wait for you to get back.

It's very tiresome though that some employers expect people to do some work for the money they get paid.
