Of course it's a bad thing. I don't understand what the problem is about expressing that opinion. Or expressing any opinion, it is of my own thinking on a public forum.
Like I said I smoke too and I do all of the things mentioned by AJGO, I just make sure I don't smoke near my child. I didn't say anything to the parents because it's none of my business but I'd have thought I'm allowed an opinion.
I don't think it's even in the same league as me being judged for not baking a cake.
Rant over and if I've got it all wrong then apologies. Perhaps cut me some slack, eh?
