I only live 5 Tube stops away from Blackfriars, so I have no excuse for being late.
But I probably will be, but only by about 10-15 minutes.

If you each make a BCG table marker, we can have a competition & judge the best efforts.

Are you the prize billwill? Because if so, I might have to break out the macaroni and glitter.

Only if the winner is one of the ladies.

Or one of the ladyboys.
So what's the deal Shabbers? Were you able to get a child cage for your offspring? Are you coming down on Saturday for drinks?
Just to let you know, I don't think I can make this now, unless circumstances change.
Have a good time, everyone.
Cannot believe the ruddy apathy! DOES ANYONE want to have a booze-up in Manchester?....

It's always the same whenever there is a BCG event. Because they are free, people don't feel an obligation to attend, even though most are promoted months in advance.
I expect a load more cancellations this week, as has been the case in the past, with some good excuses but most poor 'Ooh, I so wanted to come, but next door's cat was looking peaky and I didn't want to leave in case I had to take it to the vet' or 'Or I forgot that it's my wife's cousin's sister's birthday that day' etc.
It's just the way of humans and not worth getting upset about, those who will attend will have a great time as usual and then obviously, get accused of forming a 'clique' because they bothered showing up.
Good luck with a Manchester event, but expect the exact same apathy.
Thanks Neillg! and for kind sentiments RC- MORE PEOPLE PLEASE!!

Maybe I should have cancelled before I confirmed - hold on though, then I would have been accused of apathy. Yes, damn these Humans!
You might get more success starting a new thread dellas. There is a lot of stuff to wase through on this one and ideas can get lost.

Is Shandonbelle coming to this one?

I hope so as she's really great, but on the 30th drinks, she said it would be tricky. I'm keeping my fingeys crossed that she'll show.
