I know, but it isn't even a month old yet. I want to keep it looking shiny for a while. It's black flame maple. Very pretty.

No, the top one belongs to a friend and the acoustic is Willie Nelson's trademark guitar.

I was just scrolling down to ask you if that was Willie Nelson's guitar !
I woke up this morning thinking that it would be an uneventful day, but 7 hours from now I'll be on a flight to Los Angeles. A dear friend is bottoming out after encountering a perfect storm of unemployment, marital problems and excessive drinking, so I'm flying out there, seeing my kids and grandson for an hour or two and then driving him and his car 1400 miles back to my house. It feels a little like adopting a 53-year-old child, but I know that he would be dead or in jail 2 months from now if left to his old devices. Hopefully I can get him to turn things around.
I have one guitar I take my belt off for. It really is very lovely.
Off to a vintage fair, see what other tat I can get.

No, Kent. Is there one up there today?
I love the anticipation of buying shit!
And a friend just texted asking if I wanna go see folkbeardies My Morning Jacket at the local festival! Must be my lucky day.
Yes one just up the road from here. We have a forties weekend where I live every year - it's jolly good fun!

WOW!... what a great bloke you are. Altruistic, generous, compassionate, heroic...and so on. Is that the kind of thing you were after?
Oh dear.
