Those who wanted Harry Potter magic wands will find them on the ground floor.

Hey, they're good wands they are, nicely made...my daughter got one at the Pinewood tour. *hides it away from the sneer of Billwill* Smarmy

Bill Will is a nerd snob.

Just hankers after the old days, such as the Soho bookshop called "Dark they were and Golden Eyed" which was ALL real Science Fiction books.

But that was before you lot were even conceived (of).

Cool

I wasn't sneering, just trying to lure Zooo into the Forbidden Planet, 'cos I know she wanted a Harry Potter magic wand.

I have my own, but it's a real one, of course, a hazel wand, cut from the hazel tree at midnight with a bronze knife & then prepared & sanctified with secret procedures. Cool

I did a photo of it before, let me see if I can find it.

Ah, try this:

Makes me think of that film Gentlemen Broncos.
Must watch it again.

Hehe. I got one for Christmas! It is fun.

I think I've been to a Forbidden Planet, a few times. Is there only one, or several?

Bill you are aware all those Soho bookshops were fronts for mucky book shops.

And the one in Free Enterpise. I love proper grotty scifi book shops, like Travelling Man used to be like.

Now that sounds like a wand. :)

I'm not sure but I think I prepared this one long before the Harry Potter films came out.

TTPYO: Art buffs. Where's the sense of humour, bros?

SF Books were considered mucky books in them thar days, probably.

Cool

Talking of mucky books, I just took a quick look through some of my shelves to see what REAL grimoires on real magic I've got here.

Found these on brief search:

I've got the most famous one "The Key of Solomon" (translated from ancient manuscripts in the Brit Museum).
and

"the Secret Art of Alchemy"
"The Encyclopedia of the Occult"
"The Magician Tables"

I know I've got a copy of Aleister Crowley's "The Golden Dawn" somewhere, but it has hidden itself.

Look them up on the Internet & you'll find they are the real stuff, not like Harry Potter fiction.
