It's fantastic fun. Verhoven doing what he does best: bombast.
I barely remember Starship Troopers, so I Googled it and discovered that star Casper Van Dien went to my high school and grew up in my hometown. 
I think they brought him back for the 3rd film, which I quite enjoyed. I'm looking forward to Starship Troopers 4, out this year.
I assumed the sequels weren't worth watching. Yay/nay?
2 is awful. So much so, I never bothered with 3.
They don't follow on cast-wise, so I might just watch 3. We're feeling sci-fi-y at the moment- I think it might be Blade Runner tonight.

I have a feeling 3 is directed by the chap who wrote Robocop. I enjoyed it, but I was drunk when I watched it.
Was surfing through the channel guide and came upon the description for 'True Love' - an improvised drama.
Christ, the BBC didn't even ask for a script. Where can I get on this lucrative gravy train of cash for old bollocks?
