I read the news today oh boy! Page 895

Marinade them in their mothers milk and frighten them first to get the yummy adrenalin flowing.

Heston Blumenthal suggested that on his website.

Most of me is depressed that there are such stupid people in the world, while a tiny part of me is disappointed that I've never met such gullible 20-year-old women.

Why are Ross's farts predictable?

Because igNoble gases can be found on the periodic table.

Justice is served: the grand jury will not indict the Texas man who beat a man to death with his bare hands after catching him in the act of raping his daughter.

"The substantial amount of evidence showed that the witness statements and the father's statement and what the father had observed was in fact what had happened that day," Lavaca County District Attorney Heather McMinn told reporters.

McMinn told CNN she had "never seen a case this clear" in her career.

That's really sad. It's bad enough these hideous people prey on gullible grieving folk to get money, but to sexually exploit them is another thing altogether. If this is true then this is so utterly cruel and perverse he deserves some hefty punishment.

Sounds reasonable.

I'm assuming that no one from the dead chaps family etc raised any objections.

So justic was served.

Yep. It sounds from the reports that it was done thoroughly and to the book, and the reports of the 911 calls will help ease a lot of peoples' concerns I suppose. On cases like this though, I wish they would be more forthcoming with details of the evidence. There are those of us who can believe the word of the police, and those who can't, and I always feel that it is very much in the public interest to share as much (non identifying) information as possible, so that confidence in the system is maintained.

For me the principle is "opposition" as long as some where along the line. Someone actually meaningfully challenges the case, evidence etc from the police then I'm happy. The big objection to the agency that does this in the UK. Is they have never even in the most blatant circumstances suggested criminal charges be brought.
And certainly in the Demenzes case swallowed a hopeless case suggested by the Met unbelievably fast.

I doubt that's the case, but since they weren't there they can't really add any new evidence or argue with the existing evidence.

Well no I mean raised any meaningful objections.

I dunno like he was the founder of horse whisperer against nonces, or was actually at a party at the time or he had no cock.

Just that the case was heard objectively, which seems to be the case.

People were getting all riled up on the BCG a day after the incident took place. Evidence can't be released immediately or it will completely foul up any future trial.

It wasn't even the case that got people riled up, it was mainly your posting if I remember correctly.
