Blog Questions

I see that many people on BCG have their own blogs and I was thinking about starting one, but I have no idea how to go about it. Is there websites that give you a blog? If so which are the best ones?

'Blogger' is the one I'm familiar with, you have to have a Google account to set it up.

Or you could try Wordpress. It's all very simple to put together.

What do you do on a blog anyway?
Rant a bit?
Or does it vary from blog to blog.

Any good recommendations?
