BAFTA opportunity

Looks interesting...

Looked interesting, but unfortunately isn't free... £30 - £40 per entry. I'm too poor to enter this sort of thing Huh?

But you do get a page of feedback from a script reader, so at least you know someone will read your stuff and you get something in return...

This might be a stupid question, but when you are asked to submit just 10 pages, should it be the first 10?

It's not a stupid question, though I was considering pages 2, 5, 8-12 (they're good), 15, 107 and 3.

First 10 pages, yes.

Possible further questions:

Does that mean 9 pages and a title page?
No. Title page and first 10 pages of script.

Can you lend me the entry fee?
No.

Damn I didnt know there was entry fee. I never pay more then £15 for entry.

Nearly flipped when I thought it said the deadline was 27th June.

July though, phew.

Similar opportunity, for the London forum on 12th November... 10 pages again, though they're calling it an 8 minute extract too (probably quite accurate).

Early bird deadline 20th August, main deadline 20th September.

You do have to pay though. Cheapest is £5 for postal entry (£15 via email) and if you want a report it's £35, (£45 email entry w/report). Probably worth it if you have confidence in your script. I've never paid to enter anything before, but I may this time.
