Finally saw Little Miss Sunshine.
S'alright.

You're in a right mood today.

That's because Little Miss blimmin' Sunshine finished late and it made me tired. Grump.

Couldn't agree more, it's just sorta, kinda, alright. I don't understand why it got so much hype and just like the Royal Tenenbaums, it's one of those movies that leaves with that 'yep, that was film' reaction.

Heh. It did have some really great moments. And if I hadn't been knackered I might have enjoyed it more.
I shouldn't have waited so long to see it, then I wouldn't have had such expectations.

Why do you have to get up, zooo? Eh?

To murder the homeless.

Yeah, I'm not overly fond of The Royal Tennabaums, although I'm not really that into any of Wes Anderson's stuff. I always want to like it more than I do.

To murder the homeless.

Laughing out loud

A billion times this; I was left distinctly underwhelmed. It was nice and all, but lacking in cinematic meat.

It entertained and made me smile but that was it.

All conceit and no meat.

I'm sure we all see highly-rated films that turn out to be just OK. I thought that when I finally saw the Swedish "The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo" this weekend. Sure, it looked nice and the performances were good, but a lot of it was just the same old tired serial-killer stuff. If it had been about an hour shorter it would have been a better film.

I love watching an old film that turns out to be aces that I'd never heard of.

Like "Seconds" or "Earth Girls are EASY"

Seconds is a great film. Who'd have thought Rock Hudson would ever star in a nightmarish sci-fi classic.
