Cheers Gerry. does that battery actually work?

Also, I neglected to say, they have to be free.

I've no idea tbh; I've only tried Dropbox, Astra, Swiftkey and TuneIn Radio from that list. I can also recommend a decent book reader (Aldiko) that I use. You just download your EPUBs from the net, throw them in your dropbox folder, open dropbox on your device and you're off and running.

All these apps were free using aptoide btw, I can't access the Google Play store so I had to find an alternative marketplace.

So how did you get 'aptoide' ?

A web search for best Google play alternative (using Google, ironically) pointed me towards aptoide.com, I installed her from there.

Cool, cheers. I have installed Dizzy, the old Spectrum/Commodore game (updated). I am happy.

*adds to list*

But I said thanks!

:)

Good game Nil: there goes the rest of my week

My phone is still at the menders. :(

Have I missed the boat on the Draw Something 'craze'?

I think the boat has sailed on and anchored on Words with Friends now but don't quote me on that.

eta: I love your sig. :D

Have always done PaYG before, now thinking of a contract. How do you work out how much data allowance you need? I've no idea if I need 500GB or if 100 would do. Is unlimited really unlimited?

At a casual glance, I see there are reasonable deals available for both the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S, and the HTC One S.Anyone have any knowledge of them?

I quite fancy the massive Galaxy Note, but it's a tad pricier than those 2 models above.

edit: the Carphone Warehouse deal on the HTC seems to have ended, eve though the ad still offered it for £16. Poo.

I have a HTC one x which I love dearly. Get that.

500gb is what I have and it is not nearly enough for my daily out of house usage. 1000 is fine for even very regular surfers but if you expect to be able to stream or download you might want to consider unlimited.

My sister has a Note. It is rather lovely but she doesn't utilise its full potential, which breaks my heart.

What is its full potential? Apart from being handy to shelter under?

Well she barely uses it at all, to be honest. It's a massive waste. It's got a nice screen and the touch sensitivity is great- I don't even think she has any 3D games on there. Wasteful.

I thought you were an iPhoner Nat, have you gone over to the dark side?
