I can almost half fit into one of my handbags - this is to illustrate how tardis-like it is - and I can never find anything that's supposedly in there.

You do realise that it is possible to leave the house without spare knickers, spare shoes, hair straightners, your good make up, your normal make up, a phone charger, three hair scrunchies, wet wipes, tissues, tampons, four sets of keys and a packet of biscuits.

We men do it all the time.

I don't carry any of those listed items but I do seem to have no fewer than 9 different red lipsticks.

Got a great job. Can't take it. :(

Whyyyyyy?

P.S. I have never put a phone charger in my handbag.

Because some shifts don't finish til 11pm and my dad is mental.

Keys, phone, wallet, transport card is all that's needed really.

I agree, but you'd be surprised what I've found when rifling through womens handbags...um, you know, for science. Whistling nnocently

What was the job?

What about your boomerang?

Wow Nogget, your xenophobia is embarrassing, she keeps the boomerang in her pouch, I mean, duh.

At a restaurant I really love, either behind the bar or waitressing. I mean, I dunno how comfortable I'd feel being on the tube at like midnight, but I hate that that even has to be a consideration. And I know I'm only so aware of all of it because of how my parents are. They phoned and I said I really, really wanted it but my dad wasn't happy with the hours and I kind of had to accept that.

Technically, if your dad is the one bothered by you travelling back late, he should come and pick you up in the car.

Oh come on Scats.

Woman up, you gotta turn away and strike your own path!

Per ardua ad astra!

Don't. :( I really, really wanted it, but you can't imagine how mental my dad is. And there's not much I can do, seeing as I'm still living with him. He said he'd "be awake every night until [I] got home" and I'd have to call when I left work and when I was almost home and just eurgh. He said he feels bad about it but I just know that if I'd taken the job there'd have been problems.

Gah. Oh well, you'll move out one day and then can have any job you want.

Within reason. Probably not astronaut.
