But that's not you irl. Disallowed.
Try again.

It is, I sing everything. I'm a bluesman baby and I got the blues!

It does. :P

The thing is I mostly don't hear the Australian accent unless someone is on a program where someone from another country is doing a lot of talking and then the Australian person starts speaking.

We don't have regional accents as much here. Although some people from Adelaide do tend to sound slightly English. Also you can often tell when someone is from a country area but not which one.

Ooh, you're strict!

I try.

I sound like a female Terry Wogan but more Cork.

You've all got charming accents.

Sootyj loathes the sound of his voice played back. Sootyj sounds sort of whiny, oiky a little bit grammar school.

Not a great sound overall.

I sound like a Cork.

:O

My voice is very high and posh, I'm told. I hate hearing it recorded.

I don't know anyone that likes hearing their recorded voice because that's not how we hear ourselves naturally.

I sound like a nasal 8 year old. More than once I've had sales calls where they've asked to speak to daddy. I told one daddy was dead and mummy was a crazy bitch and he hung up.

Rwayne would probably tell you that I love the sound of my own voice! But it is true... not always :)

Which of your voices though?

The ones that tell me to do bad things!!

Those who have met me know that my accent is all messed up - a weird combination of East London and Virginia USA that has somehow transformed into Bristol / West Country / mid-Atlantic.

On the plus side, the foreigns have no problem understanding me compared to other British people - especially Cock-er-nees, Northers and Jockos.

I hate hearing it recorded.

I think everyone hates the sound of their own voice when they hear it back in a recording - especially in court. I really wish the coppers would add a bit of bass during the interviews.
