You're in the right ballpark age wise.

I think in this case it's about being honest with criticism. I mean the serious stuff. I've always been so annoyed when I get false positive feedback.

And someone says

"oh I assumed you'd edit it"

and I end up blowing an opportunity.

Attempting cross-stitching. Five minutes in and I'm ready to chuck the f**king thing in the bin.

Some thing like stitching must be much harder when you are cross.

The urge to sing has struck Sootyj so profoundly he is contemplating singing along to the Old El Passo advert.

Try singing Sootyj finds it cause more and deeper pain then almost anyhthing

I made a temporary stitched repair in one of my best pullovers, that the moths have made a hole in.

They have ruined several of my pullies.

What's the best method for getting rid of moths & their grubs?

Your reply read like "Dear Booo...".

I'd say a big net and a hammer (or a meat mallet) should do the trick.

I don't sew or mend, I was just attempting a supposedly calming hobby... The worst happened when I looked at the back of it and some loose thread was mangled in with some of the stitches. I put it in the back of a drawer and it'll stay there until the need for smoking hits me again.
