Have you ever been to Denmark? It might not even exist. Who's ignorant now?

Then where does the porn, miserablist crime drama and bacon come from?
Game. Set. And match.
Quote: Tursiops @ June 6 2012, 6:36 PM BSTNot noticed that Paris or Vienna are struggling to pull in the tourists since they booted out their blue bloods.
Build an Eiffel Tower, a Louvre, wineries and learn how to cook something other than fish and chips and American tourists will still flock to your fair land after you bulldoze Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey. Build a coliseum, some canals and bury a city under volcanic ash and you can take Italy's tourist trade as well.
Hey DaButt quite how jealous were you?
Hah we had a jubilee and you couldn't come.
Even your president didn't turn up.
So the only reason to come to Britain is in the hope of catching a glimpse of a grumpy old bint or a bloke with big ears?
Quote: Renegade Carpark @ June 6 2012, 6:41 PM BSTYou'd rather have an inept and corrupt political process that elects a leader without overall support from the public?
Yes, because the electorate could change it if they didn't like it. At least we'd have a choice.
Quote: Renegade Carpark @ June 6 2012, 6:41 PM BSTI'd check again if I were you, people seem to be far more trustful of the Windsors then the Camerons or the Blairs.
By people, you mean..?

If ever there was a reason to keep our Monarchy, then DaButt has shown us the way.

By Jove he's got it! And if we legalise handguns, create hunting theme parks and supersize deep-fried Mars bars, we might get extra tourism from other countries too!
Brilliant.

Overly royalist badgers...yes, the people. The 1.2 million who lined the banks of the Thames, the million who showed up in front of Buck House, the millions who had street parties and watched on television. Those people.
Oh and in case you are going to your old standby of 'statistics', I went down to the Thames on Sunday and a rocking street party on Monday. So I can give you unequivical proof and a first hand eye witness account.
Oh! I never realised you spoke for the people. Do forgive me.
René for President.
BTW Good dig about "stats", you cheeky flakker.

Trust them with what? I suppose there's no real reason not to trust them as we're not really having to trust them with much. We don't have to think about them, or worry about them, at all. They're just there.

But it seems to be symptomatic of the wider Big Brother / Facebook culture of 'expressing' yourself at every given opportunity, even if you don't know what the hell you are saying or just following the crowd parrot fashion.
Quote: Renegade Carpark @ June 6 2012, 6:32 PM BSTWhen you travel abroad, especially somewhere like America, you realise what a tiny, insignificant country Britain is.
Go to China and see that some youths ares still being inculcated to believe that Britain is a dominant superpower trying to exploit and hold back the progress of Asia. A shame we won't be around to see what happens when China rises to global supremacy.

The Brits? Any excuse for a piss-up.

He's too busy sending out résumés for his upcoming unemployment which is only 7 months away.
