Haha! I wear tights very often.
Oh don't tell Elliot. I really want a garter one now.

Taaa.
I know I'm an old git but seriously - you'll regret themn one day. If they only lasted five or ten years then fair enough...
Right - so people want them but one thing I really can't get my head round is tattoos on the neck. The really ultimate in Chavvyness!
Quote: Scatterbrained Floozy @ June 5 2012, 9:08 PM BSTI'm worried because, as always, I've heard horror stories.
I really like swallows. I wish it wasn't tacky, but I would have a swallow coloured like a robin (Robin/Robyn haha) on my hip if I wasn't worried about a) the potential tackiness and b)Baby-bearing warping it one day.
Did the hand-tattooed one hurt?
I don't think it'll warp on the hip but anything on bones is excruciatingly painful, although we're all different. I used to be ok with the pain and after the chest one I can only manage a 2 hour sitting at the most. I think anything on the stomach is what you need to worry about as that's where it stretches the most.
The wrist one was fine, just little pricks, hardly swelled afterwards. Didn't need any bep/cocoa butter at all.
I like those garters.
Love/hate ! or Franken-bloody-stein stiches!! Lordy NO
A friend of mine had a Hello Kitty tattoo by her belly button and then had a couple of kids. Hello Kitty is a bit tall now!

People like lots of different things. I might regret them, but I think you also regret the things you don't do. It's kind of that thing they say about how people with tattoos don't comment about people who don't; but those without often comment on people who do.

I like the look of that wink! Even if it was not intended that way.
What does Elliot think of your tats? Umm, tattoos. I know he's gonna like them, obviuosly cus they're on you n all that. Has he got any? Is he into it?
Quote: Lee @ June 5 2012, 8:37 PM BSTI do like the Suicide Girls type of look. Although it has to be tasteful. I'm not into nose piercings though, especially studs, as IMO it just looks like they have a spot or a piece of snot of their face.
I hate the "when you're old" thing too. It really is not a good argument against it, and also as already stated it's noones business but your own. Plus, who is perving old people in that much detail? "Gee I would fancy your saggy skin, but not with that faded piece of art on it, it really puts me off"
A lot of tattoos are cheesy, crap and unoriginal. But there is also masterpieces out there. Pieces of artwork.
This.
reminds me of one of my fave songs by one of my fave bands

But why is that a chav thing? Because you say so? To you they may be but I'm sure the bearer of them, the person they matter to, doesn't think so.
I personally don't like them or hand ones but I try not to be narrow-minded and judgemental of people I don't even know.

Maybe it was.
He likes them because they're mine, yeah. I don't think he'd be too happy if I were covered though! He does like them generally I think, but wouldn't feel confident enough to have one. He's said what he would have but I dunno if he actually ever would. Since I've had mine, he points out a lot of interesting ones to me that passers by have and stuff.

Chappers is an old man who doesn't like scary things out of his comfort zone. Although last time I heard from him he was shacked up with a johnny-foreigner! I could be very wrong on that. But there you go, people do crazy things.
