Just got back from Amsterdam's Tattoo convention, ended up with a new one (that's my 13th now).
You do what you want, not what others would like you to.
If I had a pound for everytime people said "what will you look like when you're old" I'd have enough for cocaine and male strippers.

Mebbe. I don't really want anything else though. I want my nose pierced but I don't think I could cope with a needle that close to my face.
That's pretty. I've been toying with the idea of bows on the back of my lower thighs, one each.

Haha! I will be wrinkly when I am older anyway, so. I figure so many things change about your appearance without you deciding (Like when I broke my tooth...grrr...), so you might as well do what you want to with your body if you can. As long as you don't get any kind of disease...

Zat is my ankle. I kinda wish I'd had the back of my ankle done instead, but I didn't want both done. I keep worrying that because it doesn't have lines by the knot-bit in the middle, it doesn't look cinched in enough. But photos tend to make me think I am being stupid.
I prefer to see mine in photos, gives me a better idea.
I think that's perfect as is, it clearly shows it's a bow.
Do you heal ok with colours? I'm crap with most reds and have even had problems with blue.

And I didn't heal okay with my ladybird, no. The red all fell out and I had it redone. He seems to be holding up okay now, but I know I'll have to have it redone again probably in a year or so. Some of the black fell out too that time, and the pesky thing is that I liked how the shading etc. was more the first time around before it was fixed! But an almost white ladybird is no good.
The blue has been great though! No issues with it at all, and hopefully I'm healed enough now to not have any. What tattoos d'you have?
I do like the Suicide Girls type of look. Although it has to be tasteful. I'm not into nose piercings though, especially studs, as IMO it just looks like they have a spot or a piece of snot of their face.
I hate the "when you're old" thing too. It really is not a good argument against it, and also as already stated it's noones business but your own. Plus, who is perving old people in that much detail? "Gee I would fancy your saggy skin, but not with that faded piece of art on it, it really puts me off" 
A lot of tattoos are cheesy, crap and unoriginal. But there is also masterpieces out there. Pieces of artwork.
I really like nose piercings, but the idea of a needle that close to your eyes...

I think it's excellent, the same as when I commented on your Facebook page a while ago with a confusing pun about it! I think if you had it on the back of your ankle, it may have looked cool in theory, but it may have been wrapped around and not looked as clear, if ya get me?
Have you considered getting the full ribbon to wrap the whole way around your ankle? Maybe it would be too much? I dunno.
Oh yeah! I remember now. I actually thought you just wanted to make the joke.
And I did want that originally, but he said the ribbon would have to be quite thick, so I am thinking on it.
