New series starts this week so I thought I'd bump the thread for Bigfella's sake. He's a massive fan.
Big Brother - Series 1 (Channel 5) Page 16
I just read the past few pages and I don't even remember any of the people I talked about. Funny (but understandable) how they immediately exit your consciousness after the show.

You're not going on holiday for 13 weeks, dellas! You'll be back for most of it.
ok pedant I will, but not catching up the whole weeks crap!!
How many series of this do you have over a year? Seems like there is aone every few months.
It's been off for a few years here but is been rivived this year. Has been off just long enough to attract people who were to young to audition last time.
I hope it fails spectaculary.
We normally have 2 series a year, a pleb version and a celeb version. Although viewing figures and interest have tailed off a lot since its heyday and only hardcore fans really watch it now.

Guess it would be to expensive for them to actually pay someone with talent to write something or produce a good documentary/informative show.
Will now keep opinions to myself and leave this thread for people who actually enjoy the show.

I haven't watched it for years, but I would argue that it was 'well-written' back in the day. The 'writers' would take the raw footage and more or less construct a drama from it.
True.

How do you tell the difference?

The pleb version has people who end up being more famous.
I vaguely remember Marjorie the chicken, and a nun..
