What are you watching on TV? Page 1,605

I don't like football so I didn't watch, but they should do the celeb thing with other sports. Maybe a mini Olympics. I'd watch that.

:( Missed the Showcase of lovely chaps wearing very little, performing acrobatic moves, and big ball passes and thrusts! OH the physicality ....

Hope it's on iPlayer= any info gratefully accepted.

The wife is watching a program on ladyboys. This is the third week this has been on and I am not comfortable on hearing the word ladyboy come out of our bedroom every 30 seconds or so.

>What are you watching on TV?

Nothing. 'cos my TV just died of heatstroke.

Think yourself lucky Bill. There could be ladyboys on it.

Is it tube or flat panel?

Wot, no comment on 56 Up tonight? This is what British TV does - used to do - best. It's genius, maybe because the people involved have been doing it for a long time. It's also a brilliant demonstration that usually people turn out pretty well, whatever background they come from. Human beings eh? Bastards.

I'm pretty surprised that all of them have lived fairly normal lives, nothing too drastic seems to have beset any of them, apart form the odd broken relationship.

:) There is a certain 'regret/longing' throughout - well who is full-bloody-filled??

The innate sadness makes me cry .

Flat panel

I don't know that I will bother to get it mended, can't see any sign of an image if I shine alight on it, so possibly not just the backlamp unit.

It was a fairly low cost one, so probably I'll just buy another low cost one from Tesco or Currys.

;) Get back 7 years guys? unless car engines have correlation?

Nothing is built to last these days. Most of the time whenever I buy a new electrical device it's always made from flimsy plastic and generally feels like it's been put together by a 4 year old.

I recently bought an old second hand laptop that runs XP. Yes, it's quite out of date but it's built out of Superman's teeth enamel and was only £100. Rather that than pay £400 for something that feels like it's going to melt if I dare to use it for longer than 4 minutes.

A bit of Fry and Laurie. I don't "get" most of it. Maybe it will grow on me.

;) Blimey you say I'm confusing? why is there a car headlight discussion?

Really enjoyed 'My Beautiful face' lovely scarred people, so sad that society is SO cruel. <3

Graham Norton.
