KI: Va va voom

FX: Birdsong, sound of crickets and cicadas

FX: The sound of a car pulling up on gravel, a car door opens and closes

Hunt: Papa?

Older Frenchman: Nicole!

Hunt: Papa?

Older Frenchman: Nicole!

Leveson: (lots of reverb)
Mr Hunt?

(Beat)

(Clearer)

Mr Hunt?

Hunt: Huh? Where? Ah, yes Lord Leveson. I, er, don't know where I was just now? What were you saying?

This made me smile.. but.. only people 'of a certain age' will get it, won't they?

I half-expected/wanted: "But Monsieur.. you are really spoiling us!" or: "Coooeee Mister Shifter!" in a retro-Ferrero Rocher/PG Tips stylee.

Cheers, it's more of a half idea. The other bits wouldn't work cos it's based on him texting the French guy at Sky and calling him 'Papa' a lot.

With this knowledge the sketch works fine, but I must admit I had no idea he called him Papa. Without that it's a bit random.

ah right. too obscure. can see how it'd be extremely surreal without that knowledge. lol.

I'll admit to being completely and utterly confused as to what was going on. I'm still not sure, even with the explanation.

I do recall the advert now you mention it. But too obscure for a sketch. Nice idea though.

I would say remember that KI will have a host to introduce sketches similar to NJ. This may not be a fully formed sketch but perhaps could work as an intro and give you a chance to explain it.

Could be something explaining texting Papa, texting back Nicole, imagine disappointment when it wasn't a beautiful young girl by Jeremy Huny. Mind you we've all made that mistake on the internet.

Or something. Although as others said it has been quite a while since that ad has been on TV!
