How did the BBC come about asking you to write a pitch? And are they paying you to write a pilot?

They'd heard about my book somehow. Came to see me at the London Book Fair and then along to one of my shows.

Haven't spoken about cash yet but I'm not concerned by that at this stage.

If they want you to write a script on spec, get concerned. My advice.

Check here Marc.

Welcome to the site Stuart. Good luck, I hope it works out for you.

Thats looks really exciting Stuart congrats old bean. Re the BBC they really should be talking about options and development fees if they are asking you to write a pilot script. Definitely have a meeting with Blair etc and discuss if I were you.
