Zoe was a scientest from the 21st century and as such wore a tight glittery catsuit.

The future is such a disappointment!

I wonder if anyone back then predicted that in the future we would all be retro?

Talents of Wang Chung or summit and pretty good it is too despite the Chinese racism.

Can't have it both ways, old man; you were chortling over Chinese racism not long ago:

Back on Topic.
Are there any trailers for the new series of Dr Who yet?

Scientists claim to have invented their own version of Doctor Who's famous sonic screwdriver.

The Dundee University researchers have created a machine which uses ultrasound to lift and rotate a rubber disc floating in a cylinder of water.

Virgin on demand (ooh er missus)

is showing loads of Dr Who's from pretty much all the series.

Interesting Sootyj is thinking.

David Tenant actually really, really good. Acting, story, effects the lot.

Tom Baker; City of Death for a classic it's really dull and stagy.

William Hartnell really good, neat characters, good story, funny actually great.

Have you only just noticed? :)

Are you saying they're showing Baker etc old Who episodes too?

Yup like a sampler of all the best.

I was surprised how little I liked City of Death as I remember it being one of my faves.

As for Tenant, I think all the timey wimey crap annoyed me enough not to notice just how ace some of the stand alone specials were.

The Baker et al didn't really seem to be trying very hard.

Ah, I wish I had Virgin. None of my stupid channels ever show old Who. :(

Watched a couple on Virgin & Netflix
Ghostlight & the first episode of City of Death.

Ooh and the first ever Appearance of the Daleks
I need to watch episode 2 though, all I've seen so far is a plunger

Is that the one with Alan Sugar as Davstrad the Dalek leader?
"with great regrets you're exterminated!"

What did you think of the episodes?

Ghostlight

One of my favourites; so weird and atmospheric, playing with big ideas.

When does this actually start?

Looks like there's a bit of a costume change coming up! (Can someone make this massive pic smaller? Ta, thanks, cool)

Watched the rest of City of Death yesterday and after a slack episode one it really picked up.

Pretty awsome really.

Some choice line from Douglas Adams. 'Such a wonderful Butler, so violent.'
'You're a very beautiful woman, probably.'
