Animal Kingdom. Possibly the best Australian crime film ever. Although admittedly it's not up against a lot of competition.

I will have to rent it some time. Never bothered when it was at the cinema because it was an Aussie film. There aren't that many that get made and of those very very few are worth watching.

I haven't just seen, and didn't see, and probably won't see 'The Raven'. I quite liked the idea of it but assumed it would be awful, and never get round to seeing films anyway. Did anyone see it? Should I bother?

I've seen 'Raven' the kid's fantasy TV show presented by a short man in a cloak. And 'That's So Raven', the kid's TV show with the little girl from The Cosby Show who is now a lesbian.

Does this help?

Laughing out loud I imagine your post was more entertaining than The Raven, so yes, it did help

That is so Raven!

oh tsk how do you know she wasn't always a lesbian but was repressed into denying her identity?

Zooo thou are politically incorrect.

Lol. Okay, 'who has now been outed as a lesbian by some American tabloid'.
That is more accurate.

'The Avengers'; it was good, but I left a bit underwhelmed. Silly looking alien baddies, too. The Hulk was ace.

It was just too silly for me. Too often it was just people in silly outfits talking to, or punching, each other. Even the action sequences were a bit 'seen it all before'. Didn't even care that the actors were good, because when you put, say, Samuel L Jackson in a pirate's eyepatch, or Tom Hiddleston in a pantomime outfit, they lose all credibility.

While She Was Out. Kim Bassinger nips out to the shops and is terrorised by the Amish kid from Witness. Predictable but watchable women-in-peril thriller. Impressively, Bassinger carries around a toolbox for two thirds of the running time.

The John Cusack film? It's flawed but fun, and Cusack is always worth watching.

It's worth it just for the most evil gangster mother since Livia Sporano.

But not worth following on Twitter. He's weird.

Unlike you, zooo, I try not to judge people by their Twitter feeds!

Pfffffffffff.

Well, it is what it is; it's based on that world so to try and pretend it isn't and to throw out the costumes, and so on, would seem pointless, I suppose.

Hamlet 2 with Steve Coogan. Weirdest film ever.

Will I be scared? Not that I'm a wussy girly who didn't sleep for days after watching Saw, heaven forbid, but I'd quite like to know, just out of interest, not that I'll wait until a man who could plausibly fight a murderer or at least not hide behind me offers to watch it with me. No sirree
