I must admit, if I actually thought the world was going to end, I'd definitely ask for the opinions of people on a comedy forum.

Yeah, sure, I could do loads of research on global politics, infectious diseases, ancient prophecies, astronomical collisions, etc., but really, I'd just be wasting my time.
