Some Success! Page 3

Well done Winterlight. I've watched you develop your skills since you joined and I gotta say, I'm quite proud. Teary

I recieved my first cheque from them today, £17.58 :D it ran for two months in total, one normal run and then on the xmas run, not sure if that's a normal payment, but don't tell ajp29 cos I'll have to split it with him ;)

ha ha - has your mum heard your guitar song?!

I'm waiting for the housing market to rise before I play it to them Laughing out loud

Wey to go kiddo.

*Does Ray Dawson avatar dance*

Congratulations!

If you possibly can you should go and see it, because you learn so much by hearing how the audience reacts. If you say you've got something in the show they should give you a comp. Best go Friday or Saturday, as it can be very quiet Thursday or Sunday nights and it's a bit depressing and hard to judge your sketch when there's hardly anyone else there. It's a very small space above a pub that only seats about 60. It's really exciting just to hear the words you've sweated over delivered by actors, though don't be surprised if you find they've changed your lines. I always feel inspired to write more when I've been. And I'm sure it's easier to get a second one taken once they've taken one, so you should strike again as soon as possible.

Good luck!

Congratulations, well done!

No surprise to me WL you know I'm a fan base in a person with your work.

Congrats either way though dude :D

Is that the cocaine-snorting, dildo-using Freud?

;)

Dan

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Very well done!!

I bet you're chuffed to bits. I'm still waiting for anything of mine to be performed (in this arena), but I expect there to be nothing quite like knowing people are actually performing stuff you've written - I mean, there's a magic attached to that.

Congratulations, Winterlight. Great to see someone on the board having some success.

Well done Winterlight I am very pleased for you and knew it was only a matter of time before you'd sell something to somebody!!! :)
