Dog
Quote: DaButt @ May 18 2012, 3:22 PM BSTNot strong, merely surprised. I figured it was more than "a couple" because everyone seemed to know the brand name.
Of an Aga? Sure, but I don't think most of them actually use wood these days.
CHECKS INTERNET:
"Fuel options include kerosene, diesel, biofuel, gas or electricity. Solid-fuel models have now been discontinued, but refurbished models can be bought."
Quote: Marc P @ May 18 2012, 3:20 PM BSTjust your local, really fresh egg from the farmers round the corner. I have cooked a ducks egg - but only scrambled if I am honest!
You do realise that I have created this entire Marc P world in my head that is firmly rooted in the 1950s. Don't get me wrong, it is beautifully idyllic, involving straw boater hats, stripey blazers, Austin Healy convertibles and picnic on the village green whilst watching the cricket. I hope St. Honky's win this year and trounce those oiks from Lower Classington.
A smiling Marc P pictured yesterday -
He's like the star of a gentle ITV sunday afternoon detective series.
I never heard anything so ridiculous RCP. Here's me and the good lady outside our last place.
She's very saucy in her yellow waist coat

LOL. No. Twas more sardonical than sartorial!
Right, you lot.
The Aga in question is over 50 years old and was in the house when we bought it.
It burns coal and as such is extremely cheap to run.
And we're not on gas and only a dick cooks with electricity.
It's not a statement.
(My eight-burner Godin - now that is a statement)

Don't pander dear, you and Lady Marcmeister look marvellous
AJGO has got no work done today as it was necessary to go to the park with a small child. AJGO will be attempting to work this evening and so will obviously be on here all night
Aww. Did you go on the swings?
I did loads of work yesterday and felt very proud of myself, but have done bugger all work so far today. I did read a book though, which we shall say was research. Even though it wasn't. Remotely.

All reading and watching of DVDs is research.
I did have a little go on the swings, but they were the kids ones and I was mightily relieved not to get my arse stuck.
I also stood for quite a while in a vague nazi pose, pretending that it was normal for an adult and that we often leave our arm sticking out in a heil manner that just happens to be where the swing would hit small child in face had arm not been there, not that I was interfering with the obviously brilliant swing-pushing technique
Hi everybody!!!! Hope all is well. Everybody's doing great here! Hope to be here more often now that life seems to be settling down a wee bit.
