Alan Partridge Online Episodes - Good or Bad Idea? Page 13

I know what you mean. An advert break between the two is probably what's planned!

That worked with the excellent Directors Commentary, which when broadcast was essentially two mini episodes sewn together.

Ah, Peter De Lane. Much missed: "I say "homage" for all the A1s out there. For all the C2s... it's a "rip-off". Hello, C2s. Back from the off-licence? Got your scratch cards?"

Armando has Partridge news. All will be revealed on Twitter very soon apparently! :)

It's a bit late, isn't it?

New episode of Partridge going out on Comic Relief night! :)

Just watched Episode 12. Alan making a complete fool of himself with his crush on Zoe. Nice end to the series, Alan at his cringeworthy best.

The online episodes were great.

The last installment was surprisingly moving too.

Any news on what channel the mid morning eps will be on T.V?

I hear a second series is in the works. I can inly assume the removal of the first series on the Fosters channel is due to the release of the online series as an app on iphone.

I'm glad the series is finally being shown on TV, but I really don't think it should be on Sky. The likes of Steve Coogan and Ricky Gervais seem to be embracing the attempts by Sky to branch into comedy. By sucking up to Sky, they are potentially damaging the BBC's comedy output.

I don't like it either. F**king Sky. Angry

How do you make that out? The BBC are screwing themselves over with their own commissioning ideas, regardless of what other channels do, and - just like Mid Morning Matters - most of it seems to be from indies rather than in-house anyway.

It just seems another example of Sky using their huge bank balance to beat competitors for shows/talent. I read that the BBC were interested in airing the show too and I would have hoped Coogan would have chosen the BBC because of the numerous times they have aired his different shows ans the greater amount of people that would watch Mid Morning Matters than will do on Sky Atlantic.

I see Coogan has signed up to Sky Atlantic for more Partridge episodes. His disgust at Murdoch is obviously proportional to how much he's being paid.
