as in Vinnie Jones?

Nooo, Vin Diesel.

Nooo, Vin Diesel.

Probably just some French wino.

Pinooo Vin Diesel, surely

And neither of those Vins, although they are both also welcome

Is he a reflexologist then?

Ha, I just remembered some French wino who used to frequent my football pub, he was barred, probably for making a vocal statement about the sheer blasphemy of only selling one red and one white wine in those tiny bottles, and he came in one crowded evening, was pursued by bouncers, rapidly got through swathes of people and around tables, dropped to the floor, proposed, refused to get up once security reached him and was dragged out by the bouncers still on his knees, singing. Thing is, he did it all with such flair. I love French wino men, they're hilarious

A refluxologist?

Will attempt to find out if my old local - The Enterprise - are showing the England games. If so, then we have found a central venue that isn't permiated with the odour of fresh tattoos and murder.

Plus some of you have been there before and know it is a nice boozer.

Will attempt to find out if my old local - The USS Enterprise - are showing the England games. If so, then we have found a central venue that isn't permiated with the odour of fresh tattoos and murder or tribbles.

Plus some of you have been there before and know it is a nice boozer with no Klingons allowed.

Are they showing the footie RC? That's a really nice pub, off the tourist routes, but a good central location.

I will try make it down for the match.

Doggett it is then. Although it is inevitable that Badge will leave his coat there

As I was walking to Blackfriars tube this evening, I saw the Sea Containers building next to Doggetts has a massive B&W poster of the Queen's previous jubillee draped over it. It looked totally amazing.

I used to work in Sea Containers, or Goldenballs as it was affectionally know for the giant ferrero-roches on the roof. What a shit hole. The first time I visited the building I was walking down a corridor when a drop of water hit me in the eye. Later in the day I walked past the same spot and someone had put a bucket there; the bucket was full of piss.

Doggett's is okay, good to stand outside on hot day, but I do not recall it being the most economical pub to drink in.
