I read yesterday about a crash that closed a dual carriageway near me for three hours where the driver crashed into a parked lorry in a lay by.
Like most I thought 'How the f^ck do you do that?'
Tonight I find out that it is a friend of mine that had a stroke shortly after dropping off his grandchild.
It's taken his left side and he has a broken pelvis. Apparently it took 2 1/2 hours to cut him free . . . . .
Feeling very vulnerable at the moment as he was about my age. If not a couple of years younger.
Thats horrible wish him well.

So sorry to hear that. It does pull you up short. I've lost a few friends in recent years, mainly to cancer.

Riley has finally managed to get tickets for the Olympics. Yay! Modern Pentathlon. Not so 'yay!' but if we ever manage to get round the transoprt problems we'll be able to say we were there.
