In Extras old Fatty Gervais lambasts the lack of funny black British comedians, especially compared to America.

In a comedy show Gervais's character laments at the lack of black comedians in the UK?

1. It is meant to be an amusing lament not a comment on reality.
2. The racial mix of the UK is not at all as ethnically diverse as the USA.
3. All the 'funny black British comedians' are not found amusing to a predominantly 'stoic white British public'.

As an alien to the physical univese, I am well aware of such irony.

Another thread bites the dust.
