British Comedy Guide

You've got a day off.

You have a day off, no studying, no work, no kids or any distractions that you don't want.
It's your day.
You have a few bob in your pocket if you need it.
What do you want to do with it?

Is this what you'd do, minus the few bob?

Keeping it within the realms of reality, I'd have a lie in, bit of toast and two cups of tea, read the paper, then take off to the cinema and see any films I've missed ( which would be a few!). I like the indulgence of going to the cinema during the day. Would then go to the train station and buy a ticket to somewhere I've never been, by the coast maybe and have a wander round, find a pub and have a nosh up and read a book, then... (how long can I be away?? :)

I don't know what I'd do, having two every week, but I'm guessing Steve would start new threads and resurrect old ones.

Try to start a new thread?

It wasn't a good idea was it?

On my day off I'd probably Open a bottle of wine and play some video game that would ordinarily be too much of a waste of time.
Unless it was sunny & then I'd do the same outside.

Oh & maybe have a nice bath with a Cheese Sandwich & the radio on.

Laughing out loud
You're lucky
Larks was about to be resurrected.
CakeMovies or Cheesecomedy
I couldn't be bothered with either.
And feel I'm in the majority.

Go for a train ride somewhere, anywhere.

Laughing out loud

You can't eat in the bath!

I know, I know.
It sounded fun in my head though.

I'd get my friend to steal his Dad's vintage Ferrari and then we'd go in to downtown Chicago with a girl who can only be described as "a hot piece of 80s ass". All the time we would be pursued by a man who would one day be convicted of being a paedophile.

Or I'd probably go down to London with my mates Gavin and Dave and get drunk.

Now that's how you post on a thread!

Laughing out loud or... you did get the reference Steve in which case still Laughing out loud

:D
For a change, that reference I did get.

Unless it was funnier that I didn't
;)

Now I'm suddenly thinking sod the video game.
I'm going to Holland Park & reading a good detective novel under a tree.

Well I keep getting them being on agency shift work and I just waste time on this f**king thing.

Does a cheese sandwich really need a bath - unless you dropped it on the floor.
