What is this? A play? I know he died in the early 90's so I'm not sure what this is?
I'd imagine it's a big screen of an old gig or one of those pseudo-holograms I read about recently whereby a life size image is projected on stage. It was a new way for a singer to do a public performance.
I guess this comes on the back of the Elvis 'Live' tours where the original band performs and Elvis performs on the big screen.
It's a modern comic who's doing a full routine as Bill Hicks, in Hicks' style, mannerisms, etc.
I saw it last year somewhere near Leicester Square. It was pretty good actually, his obvservations were OK, but it's more about the characterisation.
He's an actor, not a comic and that much is obvious, but it's an entertaining show.
The best bit was when somebody heckled, and his put down was to point out that he was an actor, not Bill Hicks, and thus peforming a script, not stand up, so don't heckle!
I thought that was delightfully Bill Hicks, in a way.

Yeah. I don't mind people peforming plays as dead people it just seems these guys have written jokes that they think Hicks would do now. I would really like to see it but can't
