Four Lions - Chris Morris' Jihadi Comedy Page 15

I know there will never be anything we all agree on, but I rate this so highly I'm still flummoxed that anyone could not like it. Incredibly funny and absolutely heartbreaking, what an achievement.

I thought it was very good indeed.
But I didn't laugh very much.

Really?! I started chuckling at the very start and laughed pretty much the whole way through, except when I was trying not to be a wussy girly and cry, which was quite often

I'm taking that as a compliment regardless of how it was intended :D

You giving me batty chirps on the phone , calling me a whammer , fxxking boy George.four lions what a classic.

Whatever happened to Chris Morris? This was a fantastic film and I was hoping for more, but we never really got anything else this good from him.

I've still not seen Four Lions but a Chris Morris hallmark makes it appealing and I'm hoping it has a kitchen sink charm like KES, or to a much, much lesser extent: Little Billy Elliot. Chris has a similar charisma to Rik Mayall with that in-your-face persona so the direction will be an interesting ride and I fully recommend this presentation in advance to actually seeing it.
