Quote: Gerry McDonnell @ April 26 2012, 10:17 PM BSTThanks for suggesting/arranging a July date AJ & Ang, I'm going to declare myself provisionally in. I can book a return train ticket for £12 if I get in early, has anyone any idea on the kick-off/clear off times?
Kick off is when RCP arrives, clear off two minutes later

Why don't you come Marc?
I'm sure the mayor will loan you his llama cart.
Sounds like a deal!!
If it was the weekend before or after I could make an alldayer, drats, but may get to come for a swift one or two

Two minutes is all I need, 90 seconds if you grease up beforehand Marc.
RCP do you have a Canadian cousin called RCMP??
Quote: AngieBaby @ April 26 2012, 7:49 PM BSTThe next unofficial drinks will be:Saturday 7 July
It will be in London, in a pub with a beer garden, for an all-day session. More details to follow...
Damn - tis my birthday celebrations that day so I won't be able to come.
I will be there if I keep failing to get Tim Minchin tickets.

Oh no!!! Thing is if we asked people to suggest dates, we'd never agree on one, and there would always be someone who couldn't make it.
We'll have a drink for you Ellie.

Definitely try pop in for a cheeky one, we'll be there all day.

Probablly start at 2:30 - 3 for a late lunch / early dinner then go on til last orders.
Can anyone suggest a good pub? I'm thinking somewhere on the river or more central with a garden, that serves good food and cold beer.
Quote: Scatterbrained Floozy @ April 27 2012, 11:13 AM BSTI will be there if I keep failing to get Tim Minchin tickets.
A day in the sun with the BCGers will be funnier than an evening with Tim Minchin.
Come on Scats, you know you want to, bring Elliot

No one cares if I come...

Maybe go for a train ride down to London. At least it's a little train trip for you, I'd love to come but it's a bit much to get a bus and train to airport, then a plane or two to Heathrow and then The Tube to the pub.
After all that effort I think I would dedinetly deserve a wine/cider or three.
One day I will make it back to London and if there's a meet on will come annoy you all in person.

It's a 4 hour total round trip and £30, I've done more for a meetup in the past.
If you want to come you're more than welcome but we won't roll out the red carpet.
(I think someone threw up on it)
That said if you wanted to get there earlier that'd be cool.
