Hug Sad to hear of your loss, DaButt.

Protect the endangered dragons day! Don't slay today!

Just found out via Facebook that a close friend from high school died today. We were estranged for many years but a few years ago (via Facebook) he contacted me to apologize. I'm feeling old, mortal and sad.

Sorry to hear that DaButt.

So, for those of you not on FB, I went to a flat warming party on Saturday night, drank way too much, fell over and split my head open on a radiator. Woke up on Sunday with a massive black eye, dried blood on my face and a little bit of a headache.

Now here's the problem, the black eye has spread to both eyes and I have to go out today. So advice time - do I go out 'as is' and risk scaring children or do I do a Bono and wear sunglasses in the rain, thus making me look like a total knob?

Sunglasses. Definitely. (But explain why to anyone who matters.)

Sunglasses... else people will talk.

And your point is :P

Thanks zooo. Either way I'm going to be self concious, so I'm still weighing up the pros and cons.

If I go out sporting the shiners, people usually give me a wide berth, which is great as I have to go to the bank and supermarket and there's less chance of hassle.

Hmmm. Will make the decision at the last second and see how I get on.

I'd just scribble YOU SHOULD SEE THE OTHER GUY on a t-shirt and waltz out the door.

Then again, chav chicks go for the fighting look. If I play my cards right, there could be an Adidas track suit on my bedroom floor by the end of the day.

Or I could stagger along the road with a can of Tennants Super in my hand and occassionaly swear at passers by.

Google has a St George & dragon logo today.

So, decided to head out without the sunglasses and it was a bit of a revelation on the chick front - girls were actually checking me out because of my violent eye shadow.

They had that 'oooh, he looks like trouble' expression on their faces, so let that be a top tip for you fellas out there - if you want to pull a modern, sophisticated woman, look like you've been in a fight.

Erm, I'm sure you're very dashing and all that, but isn't it possible that they were just staring at the bloke who looked like a panda...

I was looking for a photo of a man dressed as a panda - but found this instead! Awwww!
