Ground's For Divorce.

Judge.
Madam, what are your ground’s for divorce?

Madam
Quite a large garden sir.

Judge.
No, no, I will re-phrase the question.
Do you have a grudge?

Madam.
No sir, we park in the street.

Judge.
Look madam, by grudge, I mean does he beat you up?

Madam
No sir, I’m always up before him, to make his breakfast

Judge
Madam, are you sure you want a divorce?

Madam
I don’t want a divorce, It’s my husband, he says I don’t understand him.

Good jerf but seems to be more part of a sitcom than a sketch

This sketch shows great use of language. Unfortunately it's not English.

I'f you're going to nick my stuff, at least use it on someone else.

'As a writer, you have mastered everything but the language'

Are you Terry Ravenscroft????

Are you 'Right Said Fred'?

Oi Oi

He's written sketches for the Two Ronnies, Les Dawson and various comedy acts/shows from the 1980's.

He's a bit of a cantankerous sod too.....

Just an idea

I like Right Said Fred........... selling Daz

Those boys have still got it.

Much better than Shane Ritchie (barf) or Danny Baker (double barf) doing the Daz doorstep challenge....

'For violently white white's I use BNP, with added dole scum'

Sorry Martin,I didn't know who the geezer was, I thought you was having a bit of banter.

I laughed. At the original sketch that is.

I'd laugh at the sketch if it was realistic....surely the judge would know the grounds for divorce before the trial; and then why would a judge say the word 'grudge', or ask 'does he beat you up'? Its not real to life and so the jokes, where you're trying to twist a real life scenario into a humourous situation, just don't work. Sorry.

Danny baker's career receded faster than his own hairline.

Many jokes are unrealistic, if it didn't work for you then please don't be sorry, I'd hate for you to be upset, although I have seen your favourable critique on 'unrealistic' work by other contributors, is it because you like them more than me? it's because I'm old isn't it. Sniff, sniff.

I thought it was good - it made me smile.

The best thing to come out of Cleaner Close on the Daz ads was Carla (I think) from Corrie. A stunning woman!
