Not quite the same thing but I've often wondered how fast a man can go - ie. run.

They keep breaking records but there must be a physical limit or eventually they'll finish before they start - to run.

I think that is exactly what will happen... they'll start before they finish...

The forces of acceleration and deceleration would eventually limit their performance by breaking bones and causing other traumatic injuries.
