Grandma's House - Series 2

Six minutes. Not even the beginnings of the hint of a laugh. Situation has no prospects. Back to News at Ten.

I really rather wanted to dislike this show but it has grown on me immensely. Very enjoyable.

Wonderful return, such a great show, very funny stuff. Glad that Clive is still around, too!

That was ace

especially when the kid started flirting with Simon's mum

Many thanks for starting the thread though.

Great episode. Every character plays their part. Clive's phrases have me in stitches, "if there's grass on the wicket, let's play cricket".

I was feeling Amstel's pain with Clive giving his pennys worth in the attic, very funny.

Pretty much this.

Wasn't won over by Series 1, but really rather enjoyed tonight's. It's not a laugh a minute sitcom, but there were a few nice ones in there.

So happy this is back. Such a well written show.

Loved it. Very glad it's back.

I saw Amstell's stand up show on TV last week and it was all very similar (ie excellent). In fact I think the Mark storyline was inspired by a true story he talked about in the show. Although the real Mark wasn't as much of a twat.

I went to see that show live, he's a very good stand up; though I bet there's people who turn up expecting jokes about celebrities and leave confused.

Bugger. I forgot this was starting again. I hope it's not of those programmes that is bizarrely absent from the iPlayer...

He was on Adams Hills chat show this week. Thought he was very funny. At one point he started to ask Adam what was wrong with his leg before suddenly remembering. Really looking foward to the next series if it ever airs here.

When I saw him a couple of years back a few people left the second he mentioned something to do with his sexuality. How could you know enough about him to pay for tickets and not know he's gay? Mental.

More notably, it's depressing that in this day and age, that'd still be a leaving issue.
