More Sketches sought for our Sketch Show Pilot

Hi,

Thank you to all that submitted sketches late last year.... We selected 23 to film so that's a great start! A few hiccups along the way but we have started shooting the sketches over the past couple of months.

The show was mainly female led before but now we have our full cast in place we need more MALE/FEMALE sketches and more MALE/MALE

Our cast consists of 3 female actresses and 3 males.

The general theme of our comedy is Phython meets Smack the Pony meets Catherine Tate, if that makes any sense to you!

Please submit your sketches to: breakingbadproductions@mail.com

Deadline Friday 27th.

We have a fantastic Director, DOP and professional crew onboard and we have high hopes of getting this commissioned.

Thanking you in advance!

I've got to ask - why would you name your production company after an award winning AMC drama?

Also, if its been done before, how is it a pilot?

I think we're talking to ourselves here...

Shouldn't this be in 'Writing Opps'?

It's not finished yet and hasn't aired anywhere so it's still a pilot in the making, no great mystery.

I sent a few sketches off. What about you guys?

We sent in some throwaway stuff

as is likely to be.

Give the OP a break, he's busy setting up his new company - Mad Men Productions.

I've just tweeted an actress/producer from Breaking Bad Productions, to ask when the writers who've responded to this opportunity will be contacted.

It would make our lives easier if they just posted a list of the scripts accepted.

I've just received an email from the producer - she likes my sketches and has arranged for them to be table read next week.

:)

Why would a company looking to produce a sketch show with a view to getting commissioned not have an in-house team of writers on board?

I've just been notified that one of my sketches is going to be filmed next week.

I'm delighted.

Me too. And me too.

Dan

Well done, lads! I look forward to seeing the sketches.
