I don't think anyone I've met has been shorter than me (apart from Billwill) so I can live with myself as long as I don't have to picture their stricken faces, gazing mournfully from somewhere near pavement level

How tall are you AJGO? I'm a bit surprised that 5ft 10 is average too, definitely used to be 5ft 8in before I'n sure.

Somewhere between 5'6 and 5'7. When not in stupid heels, which I do love rather a lot. The interwebz might be wrong, but to be honest I would be really surprised if lots of men were under 5'10. Maybe I just don't see them

I am exactly average. I never notice how tall men are. I expect I would if I was tall.
