Same here. I did go orienteering a few times as a kid, this sounds a litte similar. It was great fun, I would like to try it again some day.

I've noticed 14 is Dam a stream- A typo or can someone explain what it is?
I haven't played conkers but to be fair I don't think we have them here.
Also not thrown snow or gone sledging, this would require having seen snow.

Basically blocking the stream from running. I don't think they mean a full on river... we used to do it all the time with tiny streams.

It means piling up stones and all sorts of other stuff to see if you can stop the flow of water (in a really small stream). Obviously just temporarily. I remember doing it once. Then there was some kind of leech situation and we ran away screaming. But it was fun while it lasted.
I don't remember doing it in a stream but we used to make tunnels in the sand and the pour water in, then push dry sand into one part to stop the water getting past.
