Nope. I saw Chris Addison talking about the books on an old TV show (before the film ever existed), and they sounded hilarious, so I might get them instead.
I'll probably wait for the film to come on telly. I'm lazy like that.

Yes, it was OK, but imo not as good as some of Aardman's others.
I was a bit underwhelmed by the original book, but will be interested to see the film. When a mate of mine suggested catching a movie the other day, I actually nominated Pirates, but was told that was out of the question because he had already promised to take his four year old son to see it. Sod the four-year old, take me.

I don't see the big deal. It also has the alternate title here in Australia. I'm sure I've seen American films listed with a different title in the UK before.

I explained that a bit complicatedly and it sounded wrong. It is based on a book, not a TV show. But I saw the book on a TV show...
