And when you get a woman preggers, then you may have an opinion also.
Erm. Deal!

Quote: Lee @ April 6 2012, 1:31 AM BSTI can probably get the studies for you. Mrs Lee is a learning disabilities nurse who has studied this very subject and has spent many years providing care for the victims of smoking mothers. (whilst Lee has just studied smoking hot mothers )
I'm a smoker though, so I understand where you're coming from
Aggghhh! I don't like being a smoker but I do bloody love it. But I would never be so blase as to inflict it on my foetus (I hope, a lot). Although the largest study thus far done showed that the associated risks only actually occurred in the third trimester, and that study was shockingly non-publicised because it went 'against' the current governmental health message. Of course no-one should be smoking in any realm of having children, but the way this issue has turned into a BAD MOTHER EVIL HUMAN slant is really f**king worrying. Because what most humans do, is be not perfect. And females get pregnant. We would really bloody happily share. It massively feels like this is another way to make women feel shit about themselves.

Theses "non-publicised" studies are quite fascinating. Mrs Lee tells me quite a few she learns of. Wish I could remember one!

Please get her to pm me when she's discussing them! I looked for the one I was referring to the other day and couldn't find it, even more infuriating because I was going to link to it at the time because it's so fascinating that major scientific studies get hidden, but didn't want to look like a mental fag ash lil! Most infuriating thing about working in the NHS is seeing that at the end of the day it seems like there is f**k all anyone can do. Bloody depressing. Make sure you keep on giving Mrs Lee lots of hugs
She doesn't work for the NHS, thank f**k. She's private baby! She does technically have another job for the NHS but they never-evvveerrrr have any shifts for her. Oh, well I'm sure she can cope with the well-paid, well treated private work.
