Just watched Ark In Space - totally awesome. Now I know where James Cameron got the idea for the second Alien movie.

Based on Genesis of the Daleks and Ark In Space, anyone have any reccommendations for other excellent Tom Baker episodes? When I say excellent, I mean proper good, not what Who fans think are good, but objectively good.

The Talons Of Weng-Chiang
Pyramids Of Mars
Seeds of Doom
Horror of Fang Rock
The Robots Of Death

Also, people who aren't 'Who Fans' will probably have no idea about any of the stories, so stop yer damn mocking!

Tom Baker's "Do I have the right?" speech. Epic.

Yeah, that was good and Davros going all Dalek voice when he loses his rag.

Even though I'm a sexist piggy wiggy, some of the chauvinist dialogue that Sarah has to put with is really cringeworthy to watch now.

RC is PC shock!

City of Death is quite amazing. Written by Douglas Adams.

Shit, yeah, that one's brilliant. 'What a wonderful Butler; so violent!'

I'll check that out later tonight. Thanks dude.

We'll have to have a classic Dr Who DVD marathon meet at your place, RC.

Pyramids of Mars sounds familiar, I'll watch that after City of Death Dr. Stott.

Fantastic random quote on You Tube at the bottom of one of the Tom Baker episodes -

'Is this a fan film?'

Laughing out loud n00bs!

Ark in Space! Utterly awesome. Back when the Sontarans were truly scary...

Watched City of Death last night. Good story but padded out with too many location shots - you could almost tell that the production crew were so happy to be away from the studio and rock quarries, they went a bit mental.

Oh, and no one told me about the John Cleese cameo. :D

Seeds of Doom is very good. You'll discover that John Challis can act.

Some of the unfinished Douglas Adams scripts are being released as novels. Aparently they're very good.

As for Tom Baker, I maybe the only person. But I love Spearhead from Space.

Did they remake that with Baker in the Pertwee role?

Damn my second rate brain!

I really never got the fuss about Pyramids of Mars.

Out now:

Spearhead is brilliant; but as others have said, not Baker.
