Great finish to the series.
If we don't get anymore episodes then we're left with the hope that Ollie and Liz may finally get together with Emma locked up.

I've been enjoying this, but I wasn't convinced by the sudden turning of Emma into a villain in the last few minutes of the series.
Have I missed something? Has she been a bit of a baddie all through and I just didn't pick up on it (I do do that sometimes)?
Anyway - hope she's back next time (if there is one) cos I liked her.
It wasn't played to to quite the same extent this series, but it was made very clear in Series 1 that she was dishonest, unworthy of Ollie's affections, and, although not wholly unlikable, certainly to be treated with a healthy amount of suspicion by the audience.
Yep, missed that. I still hope she comes back after prison as some sort of vengeful "wronged woman."
She's cute too
Well, she hasn't been wronged, so I think that set-up's a little unlikely!
But yes, I agree it'd be nice to have her back if - fingers crossed - a third series is commissioned. It was a good ending to re-start the tension (that perhaps you also missed?) between her and Liz too.
No, I got the tension between her and Liz, but I thought they were more or less equals (both a bit mad, both good-looking, both after Ollie).
I hope it comes back for a third series too though, if only to see Darren again - a cool comic character.
Aha. No, see, Ollie's supposed to have taken a shine to Emma at ... uh, college, whatever it was, but she (IIRC) more or less ignored him, then stole his 'big idea' for the concept restaurant and went and made a success of it without even telling him, let alone giving him a cut. Meanwhile Liz is the sweet, hard-working local girl who's always loved him but he's barely even noticed.
I do rather hope that Liz and Ollie get together now that Emma has finally got what was coming to her and what she has been deserving for years, seeing as she has always been stealing Ollie's ideas.
Glad to see it's been cancelled. Should never have been commissioned!!!
What a pleasant sentiment.
Such impeccable grammar, too.
Dreadful news, symptomatic of everything that's wrong with British comedy at the moment, and even moreso the BBC.
Meanwhile of course, signs are looking positive that ABC will pick up a US remake. I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions...
I thought it was a great end to the last series and I was looking forward to the next series. Can't believe they've cancelled it.
I was really looking forward to Series 3.
I'm gutted.
BBC Three. Fools. They've now got rid of: Mongrels, The Fades, Doctor Who Confidential, and White Van Man. All shows with decent sized fanbases and ratings better than a lot of similar channels.
Wouldn't be surprised if they also got rid of Pramface and Him & Her, though I believe (and hope) the latter is safe.
But hey, as long as the likes of Britain Unzipped and Snog Marry Avoid get recommissioned, eh?
Seems like they are actually trying to destroy the channel to me.
To what end, I'm not sure.
